Terms and Conditions for Air Charter Services
VSKY Aviation Group
Last updated: 2026. By booking or using air charter services through VSKY, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1. Departure and no-show
Passengers must ensure to reach as per the scheduled estimated time of departure or else the delayed or no show shall be treated as cancelled without any refund.
2. Payment
100% advance to be received at the time of booking, as “confirmation charges” for confirming the charter.
3. Other charges
GST shall be applicable as per the rule of Govt. of India.
4. Cancellation
Cancellation charges would be levied as a percentage of the total invoice value, as follows:
- 50%— against flight preparation charges will be levied if the flight is cancelled due to “force majeure” reasons.
- 25% — if cancellation is done 15 days prior to scheduled departure of the flight.
- 50% — if cancellation is done 7 days prior to scheduled departure of the flight.
- 100% of the total estimated charter cost will be levied if the flight is cancelled less than 72 hours before scheduled departure.
Any cancellations or changes (if the same cannot be executed due to operational reasons, lapse, or lack of relevant permissions) in flight sectors after the commencement of the “flight program” will be termed as a “last minute cancellation” — and the cancellation clause of 100% would apply.
In case of rescheduling, requests for replacing passengers or rescheduling the booking prior to the specified time limit shall be entertained subject to availability of charter but only after payment of price difference as per the new date.
Note: The cancellation and refund policies are drafted after having carefully catered to the different policies of all aviation companies operating tours within India. The cancellation fee is charged to compensate for the loss of revenue due to sudden cancellations resulting in empty or throwaway cost-priced seats on the entire tour.
5. Bad weather, slot for take-off or landing & force majeure disclaimer
- Safe flying is subject to many force majeure factors like bad weather, delayed air traffic clearances / permissions, VVIP movements, flying in defense airfield or Indian Air Force flying (NOTAM), a sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft, illness to flying crew or even delayed reporting by the passengers at the airport. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality in such scenarios and cooperate with the crew.
- Takeoff and landing slots are subject to availability and approval by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) / Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC). We do not hold responsibility if we are unable to secure the required slots for takeoff or landing.
- In case of postponement or cancellation of flight owing to factors mentioned above, the crew shall reserve the sole right to plan a new itinerary keeping in mind the safety of the machine & passengers.
6. Governing law and disputes
Disputes as to legality, interpretation, application, or performance of service or any of its terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Delhi jurisdiction.
7. Baggage
Only one baggage weighing a maximum of 5 KGs is allowed per passenger. Guests are not permitted to carry suitcases or any other bags in the charter due to size constraints of boot space in an aircraft. Extra baggage beyond 5 KG in charter will be charged at INR 200 per KG.
8. Children and senior citizens
Children below 02 years are treated as infants and are accommodated free of charge along with guardians. For verification of the age of the child, ID proof / birth certificate shall be checked before boarding. Children above 02 years flying in the charter are considered adults as per DGCA SOP and are thus charged at par with an adult. Moreover, there are no provisions for any discount for senior citizens.
9. Identity and documentation
In the case of Indian citizens, we require complete Aadhar card details. In case of foreign nationals traveling to defense airfield we require the complete passport details, confirmed departure & arrival timings (no changes will be accepted by the team) at least 10 working days prior to departure of the flight. Every passenger is required to carry their respective identity proof (Aadhar card in case of an Indian and passport in case of NRI / foreign national) at the time of booking.
10. International bookings and payments
US$ equivalent rates will apply for any bookings whose payments are received from outside India OR whose “country of origin” is not India OR booking is from a “non-Indian person / company” OR for flights outside India.
11. Prohibited conduct
We will not be responsible for passengers carrying any contraband items & or involving / indulging in any illegal activities.
